FAQ

The Space is held in my home in Whitchurch Canonicorum, a small village in Dorset known for its long history of healing. It is one of the most beautiful parts of southern England, surrounded by rolling hills and only a few miles from the World Heritage Coastline. The landscape has a gentle, nurturing presence that supports the work we do together.

Because this is not a venue or a retreat centre. It is my home, and you are invited in.

Littlehill is my sanctuary, the place where I find quiet, steadiness and truth. The gardens, the fire pit, the natural pool and the soft, earthy rooms all hold a sense of warmth. The kitchen is where most women settle first, drawn to the light, the calm and the feeling of being held by a lived-in space.

You are welcomed into a real home because the work we do together is real. It is human, tender, honest and rooted in belonging.

The day runs gently from 10am to 5pm at my home, with the option to stay overnight if you’d like.

We spend time around the kitchen table, share simple breathwork, eat together, and leave room for quiet as well as conversation. Later in the day, we often end up by the fire.

There’s no performance and no pressure. The day has a clear shape, but there’s plenty of room for rest and softness, and for doing things at your own pace. A lot of women say it feels like arriving somewhere steady, where nothing is rushed.

Your booking includes:

  • A full in-person Space day (10am–5pm)
  • A small, carefully held group (maximum 12 women)
  • Shared food, warmth, and care throughout the day
  • Invitation into ongoing connection between gatherings
  • Optional extensions: overnight stay, dinner, swims, or early arrival

Consent is at the heart of everything we do. Nothing is expected of you. You will always be invited, never required.

You can choose how much or how little you share. You can step outside, rest, move, or adjust your place in the room at any point. Every activity is an invitation, and your yes or no is always respected.

This is a space where your boundaries are welcome and your comfort matters.

Yes, you are very welcome to come with a friend!

Many women feel more at ease arriving with someone they know, and it can be a lovely way to share the day. We do ask that each person books their own place so we can keep the numbers balanced and make sure the space feels comfortable for everyone.

Once you arrive, you are free to stay close to your friend or move into the group in your own time.

Most spaces are one-off experiences, but The Space is a rhythm.

Women often come once, and many choose to return, because once you know where to land, it becomes something you don’t want to do life without.

This isn’t a retreat you attend and move on from. It’s a space you can return to, again and again.

The Space has already become more than a single gathering. It is growing into a small, steady community, a place you can keep returning to for connection, truth and a sense of belonging that asks nothing from you. Just your presence, exactly as you are.

To help hold that feeling between our in-person days, everyone who joins The Space is invited to our monthly online circles. These circles are gentle, welcoming moments to reconnect, breathe, share and be held alongside the women who have sat at the table with you.

The circles are held with the same care and ease, and you are free to join as often as you wish.

Monthly online circles

They are simple, steady gatherings that help us keep the village alive, even when we are apart.

Yes, completely. Everyone arrives carrying different things and for different reasons.

Some bring worry, some bring hope, some bring a mixture of both. You do not need to be confident, social or certain to belong here. There is no pressure to share more than feels right, and you can move through the day at your own pace.

Many women say the nerves ease within the first hour, once they feel the warmth of the group and the steadiness of the space.

You are more than welcome. Everyone arrives carrying different things and for different reasons. Some women come with grief, stress, exhaustion or change. Others come feeling grounded and hopeful. There is room for all of it.

This is why I created The Space. You were not meant to do it on your own, and you were not meant to hold everything by yourself.

You will never be asked to explain more than you want to. You can rest, step outside or take a little time alone whenever you need.

The Space is steady, supportive and kind, a place where you can soften and be met just as you are.

It is a gentle way to stay connected with The Serenity Practice and to hear about what is unfolding. From time to time, I share updates about upcoming gatherings, free breathwork sessions, and the quiet work of building a steady, supportive community.

I am mindful of inbox space and only send emails when there is something meaningful to share. If you feel drawn to the spaces I hold, or would simply like to stay in touch, you are warmly invited to complete this simple form here.

I’ll meet you as you are. I create spaces that are calm, clear, and grounded, where you can settle without needing to explain yourself. There’s structure, but there’s also softness. You can join in, step back, go quiet, or take space. You don’t have to be “on”.

I’m here for the real thing: rest, honesty, laughter, and the kind of connection that builds slowly and lasts.
